    Dyoned the STi today.

So I made a random trip up to 42 Auto Sports today and Steven talked me into doing a base line dyno run over at Six Sigma Dyno Services, which happens to be right next to their shop.

ended up making 238.9whp and roughly 225wtq on a Dyno Dynamics load bearing dyno.

Stock ecu, hks catback, spt intake.

Im pretty happy with it, and cant wait till I go full turbo back and tune.

HP and TQ curves not exactly smooth. Looks like the mountains out my window. Need to fix that.

Thanks for coming out to see us. I hadn't seen you in forever, I knew I recognized you but I couldn't place you at first. :P lol

For a untouched ECU and just to have a catback (intake is negligible if it makes power) that car runs STRONG.

I've seen full stage 2 cars with untouched OTS maps make that. With a downpipe and stage 2 tune that car would make some serious power.

ha yeah, i was pretty suprised myself. I was assuming around 225ish but Ill definitely take 238. Im probably going to go with a catless DP and try and find a little cleaner (looking) exhaust since im not a fan of the N1 style on a subie. then get the rest of my stage 2 mods put together and come back up and have you guys do an open source tune on it.

how similar is that dyno to the one Dale uses? My Wagon put down 210/265 on the one at App Perf. I think.

its a dyno dynamics load bearing dyno... IDK what app uses. But from what I was told by Steven and Adam, its a pretty low reading dyno.

The mustang at App reads pretty low from what I've heard. Dale uses this one when he tunes for us down here and said they seem to be fairly close.

Nice numbers! The FXT put down 205hp/235tq on the above mentioned mustang dyno at App Performance. Hurry up and go Stg 2 and get it over with, you won't regret it

I just had to pay back the rest of what money I had borrowed to buy the car. So itll be a little while until Ill be able to afford any mods. But so far what Im thinking is picking up an invidia bellmouth catless DP, different catback, silicon boost hoses, grimmspeed ebcs, walbro fuel pump, and tune. Id love to see if I could break 300whp.

I don't think you would need a fuel pump to go stage 2, you shouldn't be maxing out the fuel system at that level anyway. You should be damn close to 300whp

ive heard/seen/been told that alot of people like running aftermarket fuel pumps, even for stage 2. Ill do some more research into it, but in the long term Ill probably end up getting one anyways considering that I will eventually put a slightly bigger turbo on it.
